Form refers to the pattern (or plan) of individual sections of music within a piece. The most common section lengths are 4 or 8 bars. One of the most common types of form is called BINARY FORM, where the order of the sections is [A] [B] . Sometimes these sections are repeated (as in the following waltz) and# whilst the two sections do not have to be identical, they must retain similar characteristics.
This is an excellent and simple right hand arpeggio study in C major. Play strongly and evenly, remembering to observe the time value of the dotted half notes by holding them for the entire bar.
