Solo 27

- Experiment with the creation of your own * patterns by combining any 2 x % patterns with identical hi-hat rhythms.

– Try combining different fills with different beats.

The Quarter Note Triplet

Following the triplet rule, three quarter note triplets are played in the same space of time as two quarter notes. Therefore there are 6 quarter note triplets in 1 bar of * time.

The Quarter Note Triplet Rest

This is a quarter note triplet rest and indicates silence for the count of one quarter note triplet.
