Fingering Diagram

Here is a diagram showing where to place your fingers for the note G. Fingering diagrams are used throughout the book to show you where to place your fingers for each new note.

The Note G

This is the note G. It is written on the second line of the treble staff. Musical notes and symbols are covered in Lesson 2. For now, the important thing is to find the note G on your flute, as shown in the previous fingering diagram.
