  • What is Muzician?

    Muzician is a music learning app that can be used with all platforms and devices. It combines current technologies with our 30+ years of experience in developing world-class education content to deliver the most effective way to learn any popular musical instrument.

  • A Free account seems too good to be true. Is it?

    You can sign up for a free account, which will continue for as long as you like. A free account gives you access to a sample of all books and courses, as well as 52 free short books and tuning and reference manuals. You can also print all free content. Occasional upgrade notices will appear. Upgrade to Premium at any time to unlock all course and book content, access unlimited printing and do away with ads.

  • How do I sign up?

    So you’re keen to get started, or to continue on your music learning journey? Excellent! Just hit the 'Let's Go' button on the Muzician website, after entering an email address. This will take you to the sign-up page.

    On this page, you’ll need to enter your email, name, and a password, and then hit ‘Register’ at the bottom of the form, or sign in with Google or Facebook. If registering with email, you'll receive an activation message at the address provided.

    And that’s it! Now, you’re ready to start learning and playing. If, however, you have any issues please use our Contact Form to get in touch.

  • What is Standard Membership?

    Everyone who signs up to a Muzician FREE account receives a Standard Membership. The list below gives a basic outline of all of the great content a Standard Member is able to access, with no time limit, or payment details required.

  • What is Premium Membership?

    Premium Membership unlocks ALL of the content Muzican has to offer, as outlined below.

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

    If you have a Premium Membership, go to your User Profile and select Edit Profile.

    On the User Profile page, click on My Subscription. Scroll down to the bottom of the subscription information, and click on Change Subscription. From there you will be given the option to cancel. Your Premium Membership will be cancelled once your remaining paid Premium Membership days expire, e.g.; if you have 65 days remaining on a yearly subscription, then your access to Premium content will end in 65 days. By cancelling your Premium Membership you do not receive a refund for the time outstanding.

  • Help! I cancelled my Premium Membership by accident!

    If you cancelled your membership by accident, you will need to visit our Contact Form. Enter ‘Cancelled Premium Membership By Accident’ in the subject heading, then enter a concise explanation of what happened, and request to have your Premium Membership reinstated in the form provided below. One of our Help staff will be in contact shortly.

  • How do I delete my account?

    If you’re absolutely positive that you want to delete your account entirely and lose all of your personal progress data, please visit our Contact Form. Enter ‘Delete Account’ in the subject heading, then enter your request in the form provided below. One of our Help staff will be in contact shortly to confirm your request. A note of warning, if you are deleting a Premium Membership account before your paid period of membership has ended, you will not receive a refund for the time outstanding.

  • Can I share my account with other people?

    Yes, you can. Please remember, however, that Muzician is designed to teach you how to play a musical instrument. One way it achieves this is by recording your progress through the courses available. When additional people use your account, it may compromise Muzician’s effectiveness in teaching you how to play. We understand that family members like to share, and as long as you are aware of this, you may share the account with family members in the same household. The inclusion of sub-accounts for different family members is being considered for future updates of Muzician. We ask that you refrain from sharing your account details with anyone outside your immediate residence, or sharing your account details publicly on social media for example. Abuse of this may result in the suspension and/or cancellation of your account.

  • How do I change my password?

    To change your password, go to your User Profile, and select Edit Profile. When the User Profile page is displayed, click on the Password ‘Edit’ button.

    A new password input form will appear.

    Enter your current password in the form, then enter your new password in the New Password field below, and re-enter your new password in the Confirm New Password field. Then hit ‘Submit’. Please note - if you have signed in with Facebook or Google you will not see this option because it is not applicable.

  • I forgot my password, what should I do?

    If you’ve forgotten your password, go to Muzician.com and click Login (top right). Once the Login page is displayed select Forgot Password.

    If you experience any further issues please go to our Contact form. Enter ‘Forgot Password’ in the subject heading, then enter your query in the form provided below. One of our Help staff will be in contact shortly thereafter.

  • How do I upgrade to Premium Membership?

    To upgrade to Premium Membership, click on one of the ‘Upgrade to Premium’ buttons on the site. You’ll be taken to the Subscription page.

    Select which subscription type you would like.

    Then select credit card or PayPal and choose which subscription you would like - Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime.

    Once you’ve completed payment an email will be sent, confirming your upgrade to Premium Membership.

  • What are the payment options for Premium Membership?

    We have three Premium Membership subscription options - Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime. Please check the subscription page for up-to-date pricing.

    Monthly and Yearly subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period.

    You can cancel your subscription at any time, however, your subscription will continue until the date you have paid for. There is no refund for time remaining on your subscription.

  • What options do I have for payment?

    Depending on your location, we accept payment via credit card and/or PayPal.

    If you are in India, you can only pay using a credit card.

    If you are in the Philippines, you can only pay using PayPal.

  • How long does an upgrade from free member to premium member take to process?

    Your Premium Membership upgrade will occur immediately, and a confirmation email will be sent to you.

  • How do you handle my private information?

    We value your privacy. All data is encrypted and stored on a secure server, and is not shared with any third parties. Please visit our Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions policy, for full details.

  • Will you send us any unsolicited emails?

    No, we won’t flood your email with dozens of unsolicited emails every week.

    We send out 2-3 emails per week covering a range of topics; different courses you might be interested in, blog posts related to instruments you are learning, updates about new content that has been added to Muzician, changes to the Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy, and membership reminders where applicable.

    If you wish to unsubscribe from all marketing communications, please use our Contact Form, enter ‘Marketing Email Unsubscribe’ in the subject heading, then enter your request in the form provided below. One of our Help staff will be in contact shortly to confirm your request.

  • What are Rewards?

    Rewards are gained as you progress through a course. There are three kinds: mCoinz, Badges and Trophies. mCoinz are gained by completing exercises, Badges by completing lessons, and Trophies by completing courses.

  • How do I use mCoinz?

    10 mCoinz are awarded when an exercise is completed. mCoinz can be used to unlock Collectibles for the three fun worlds - Jungle Zoo, Space Encounters and The Middle Kingdom. Collectibles range from 10 to 200 mCoinz.

  • Can I spend mCoinz in real life?

    No. mCoinz have no true monetary value, they’re just a fun way to reward your learning experience.

  • How do I earn Badges and Trophies?

    A Badge is awarded when a lesson is completed.

    A summary of awarded Badges is available on the Muzician home page. To view all awarded Badges click the ‘Visit’ button on the Badges box. An exercise is considered complete once the accompanying video or audio is played through at least once, and the green 'check’ symbol is then displayed. Once all of the exercises in each lesson are complete, a Badge is awarded.

    A Trophy is awarded when a course is completed. There are three kinds of Trophies: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. A Bronze Trophy is awarded when 5% of a course is complete. It’s upgraded to Silver when 50% of a course is complete. A Gold trophy is awarded when the course is 100% complete.

    A summary of awarded Trophies is available on the Muzician home page. To view all awarded Trophies click the ‘Visit’ button on the Trophies box. A Course is considered complete once when the green 'check' symbol is displayed for every exercise.

  • How much can I print?

    All our free content is printable, for standard members. If you have Premium Membership you can print as many pages of our courses and books as you like.

  • How do I print?

    Select the printer icon, displayed in both course view and book view.

    The print preview window will open and display the page that you have open. You can only print two pages at a time. To print the next, or previous page, you will need to select the relevant exercise from the course or book and then click on the print option again.
